We have partnered with Canadian doctors who will see you virtually from your phone, tablet or computer.

There is NO COST for the doctor's appointment.  This is a community service that we are happy to provide to those in need.  As of December, 2022, OHIP does not pay for all virtual visits.

If you do not have access to email, phone or computer, or if you need assistance with video technology, you can schedule your appointment at our Merrett's Pharmacy consultation room.*

* For an in store appointment, tell the care coordinator that you want the appointment at the pharmacy during our business hours and the link emailed to virtualcare@ssmpharmacy.com

*Merrett’s & Group Health Centre Pharmacies are currently supporting the costs for virtual appointments so there is no cost to the patient. 

Prescriptions issued by the doctor will be sent to Merrett's Pharmacy. You can request that your prescription be sent to Group Health Centre Pharmacy on McNabb Street, or to your pharmacy of choice. 

Due to the shortage of primary care, we are currently offering this as a complementary service to all patients in the community.

Former patients who are de-rostered and not registered with a primary care provider may be eligible to access the same day Access Care Clinic (located on East Street) which is supported by the Group Health Centre.

All patients are welcome to use our Group Health Centre Pharmacy location on McNabb Street. 


You do not have to be a patient at the Group Health Centre to access our pharmacy.
